The historical charm and the well-appointed shower room added a unique touch to our stay, showcasing the property’s rich past. The terrace and garden area were perfect for unwinding with a cup of coffee after a long day.
Unfortunately, the mattress in the attic room felt old and lumpy, making sleep less than enjoyable. The breakfast servings were on the smaller side, and we had to wait for toast while the host shared lengthy stories about local history, which interrupted our meal. the TV in our room didn't work, and we were told most people don't watch TV while away, which was frustrating. The en-suite shower room, while well appointed, was cramped, and the lack of tea-making facilities in the room was a surprising oversight. Lastly, the heating in our room didn't kick in until late, making for an uncomfortably cold night.

The blend of historical charm and exquisite decor created a warm ambiance throughout the stay. Breakfast featured delightful French products that added a unique touch, complemented by engaging conversation with the host. The only downside was the small shower area, which felt cramped and could use some improvement, along with the need for more substantial drinkware during breakfast. Despite these minor issues, the experience was memorable and definitely offered great value for the price.
